Width / Height | Define the width and height of the embedded QuickTime player |
Volume | Sets the volume of the media file |
Controls | Sets whether playback controls will be displayed for the media file. If controls are visible, you may need to add 16 pixels to the overall height of the movie |
Kiosk Mode | When "Kiosk Mode" is set to "yes", the QuickTime plug-in does not include its pop-up menu in the movie controller and does not allow drag and drop to save the movie |
Hidden | If a movie is hidden, it will not be displayed to visitors. This is useful for sound-only files |
Play From | This setting defines the first frame that the movie will be played from. This attribute takes a time value in the form -- Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Frames (30ths) |
Play To | This setting defines the last frame that the movie will be played up to. This can be any time up to the duration of the movie. This attribute takes a time value in the form -- Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Frames (30ths) |
Autoplay | If set to "yes", the media file will start playing as soon as the QuickTime Plug-In estimates that it will be able to play the entire movie without waiting for additional data |
Loop | Controls whether the movie should play once, loop infinitely, or play alternate forwards, then backwards (bounce) |
Scale | Sets the "scale" of the movie. If "Fit" is selected, the movie will be scaled to the values entered for Width/Height. If "Aspect" is selected, the movie will be scaled to the Width or Height, whilst maintaining the movies original aspect ratio. Settings are also available to halve or double the original size of the movie |
Play Every Frame | By default, "Play Every Frame" is turned off. When turned on, the QuickTime plug-in will play every frame of the movie even if it is necessary to play it at a slower rate to do so. This setting is particularly useful to play simple animations |
URL when Clicked | Allows you to set an URL to be navigated to if a visitor "clicks" the movie |
Background Color | Sets the background color for any space that is not taken by the movie. For example, if a 160x120 movie was embedded in a space of 200x120, there would be 40 pixels of undefined color space in the width. Specifying the hex value of the background color will fill the undefined space with the chosen color |
Enable Scripting Access | If you want to control a QuickTime movie using JavaScript functions, you need to enable JavaScript for that movie by setting this value to "Yes" |
Placement Method | Controls how you wish to embed the media into your page. Traditionally, Internet Explorer recognises <OBJECT> tags, whereas Mozilla (Netscape/Firefox) recognises <EMBED> tags. For maximum browser compatibility, it is recommended that you select both placement methods |
